    01:01:33 L/Ss of Sir Harry Lauder playing gold at home in Scotland. M/S of Harry giving flower to his wife. Several shots of stage star Sydney Fairbrother collected hens eggs on her farm. M/Ss of Matheson Lang relaxing in deck chair smoking pipe. M/Ss of Dame Ellen Perry. Good Footage of other well known personalities including George Bernard Shaw, Willie Maugham and the producer Julian Wylie. L/Ss of Wylie inspecting young prospective stage women standing in line.

    01:04:15 The Aldwych Theatre. Good footage of several stage actors rehearsing a play by Ben Travers. The actors include Tom Walls, Ralph Lynn and Yvonne Arnaud. M/Ss of Charles B. Cochran interviewing on of his "potential young ladies". L/Ss of Clarice Mayne on stage with numerous dancers. Commentator says whatever the play she always plays the "Principal boy". M/S of woman singing scales (quite appallingly). Wylie shakes his head in despair. Good footage of the Dolly Sister dancing on stage. M/Ss of Nervo and Knox standing outside coffee stall having a comical fight.

    01:06:33 M/Ss of Leslie Henson being given a massage. The masseuse treats him very roughly banging his head up and down and rocking him back and forth. Several shots of the dancers in training doing exercises. M/Ss of Billie Houston showing sister Rene "some new gag with matches." Several very good shots of Wylie working with his principal actors including Carl Brisson (good C/U smiling). M/Ss of Josie Collins performing in play.
