    M/S as inspector holds his arm out to stop a bus. M/S as he speaks to the conductor, who tells him the clock they have just passed has been damaged and is not telling the correct time. The inspector looks at it and writes details in his book. M/S as he enters telephone box, C/U as he gives details down phone. M/S of the operations centre where they write down the details. C/U as a file is taken out. M/S London Transport depot where a van leaves to repair the clock. Various shots as he arrives and examines the clock, he gets a spare one out of the van to replace it. M/S other clocks in his van. M/S as he takes it to the repair shop. C/U as a man mends a watch. M/S's rows of watches and clocks. C/U pendulum on the main one, camera pans up to clock face.
