Full title reads: "Thus Britain Honours Her Word! HMAS Australia - pride of Australian Navy - sunk 'full forty fathoms deep' in accordance with terms of Washington Treaty".
Various shots of warship HMAS Australia being scuttled at sea, clouds of black smoke rise from the deck. We see the ship roll onto her side and then gradually sink into the ocean. Aerial shot of sinking ship, other vessels surround her. More shots of HMAS Australia as bows - last visible part of ship - disappear under water.
