    King George VI (Prince Albert, Duke of York) visits Horley Lake and watches soldiers crossing a river in a small boat and on a portable pontoon bridge. A folding boat bridge is set up to allow heavy equipment across the river. The Queen walks around an army canteen and chats to some of the men. M/S of the men holding their plates in the air.
