    Various shots of the cargo ship the 'Eskodene' partly submerged off the east coast after hitting a German mine. L/Ss of the Belgian ship the 'Kabinda' off the south coast. The ship has a crack down the middle of the hull. Several shots of people including children looking at the sacks of coffee on the shore which have been rescued from the stricken vessel.
