    Various shots of an air ambulance biplane taking off; good point of view shot as we rise off the ground and into the air. Aerial views as we fly over Glasgow and the River Clyde. We come in to land on the Western Islands. A patient on a stretcher is loaded aboard.

    We fly back over the shipyards of the Clyde. The unfinished Cunard 534 ship is seen. A motor ambulance meets the plane back at the airfield. The patient is put onto the ambulance and driven off. Glasgow street scenes. The ambulance arrives at St Andrew's Hospital.
