Fun at the beach - swimwear is modelled, women fish from a pier, diving and swimming.
Begins with a poem in an intertitle: "They're love-like, And dove-like, They're Angels from above-like, They're the joyous little Eves By the glad sea waves."
A group of people (about 12 of them) sit on a raft in the sea. People swim and row small boats around them. M/S of several women lying in the sea. A small child walks in front of them, there is a large pier behind them - could be Brighton. People sit on a pebbly beach - seen through an unusual diamond shaped mask. Two bathing belles stand in wet swimsuits. Both wear swimming caps - one has a butterfly motif. C/U of two smiling women, one sits on the pebbles and the other dries herself after a swim.
A novel bathing costume is presented to the camera. It is black with a striped trim around the arms, legs and neck. "Strange how Adam will intrude, girls." Some girls sit on the beach - one is knitting. A man in swimming trunks and a vest sits with them. A woman is fishing off the side of the pier and reels in a small fat fish. Crowds of people on a small rickety pier watch people dive into the sea. A woman rows a small canoe-like boat in the sea. A couple of women row in these canoes with the pier behind them. C/U of one of the rowers.
