    As the rail strike draws to an end (14th and 15th June 1955), various shots of steam engines and locomotives moving in and out of sidings, railwaymen standing near their office, a man switching the points on the track.

" is called to the Ministry to try to settle the two strikes; Sir Brian Robertson leaves; Sir Wilfred Neden, Chief Industrial Commissioner, was the Ministry's Chief Peacemaker.
