    Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) cuts the ribbon to open something - possibly a new promenade. He is accompanied by various local dignitaries.

    He inspects local sailors from the Royal Navy, members of the Royal Marines, soldiers and war veterans.

    He is cheered as he leaves in a car.
