    Chinese troops walk along road. Many are carrying belongings and look as if they are retreating. One of the soldiers is carrying what may be some kind of mortar. Several shots of the retreating troops.

    A wounded man on a stretcher is loaded into a waiting vehicle. Several of the first aiders are wearing an odd reversed Swastika symbol on their hats and coats. These people are leaving their homes ahead of the Japanese advance. Refugees on small boats float down River. The boats are fairly crowded. Views of damaged streets and buildings. A dead body lies tangled in barbed wire. View down deserted street. Pieces of furniture lie discarded in the road.
