    A bagpipe and drum band of the 1st Battalion of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders march around the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle.

    Soldiers of the Regiment march out of the Castle gates. The wind is so strong that the flag bearers nearly get blown over.

    Troops in their traditional kilted uniform march through Edinburgh. Young cadets are included. They march into St. Giles Cathedral. Civic dignitaries follow the troops into the Cathedral.
