Several shots of a patrol in the forest. With their primitive home-made radio they try to make contact with Darwin. Several shots of the listening post at Darwin. The first message from Timor is received after they were all believed to be dead. Several shots of the letters and supplies which were sent to the men after their position was established. Some Australian money is also given out to the native people to show gratitude for the help given to the soldiers. Several shots of another patrol in the woods, in action against the Japanese. Meanwhile the native men go into action against other villages who have sided with the Japanese. They burn huts and brandish spears in a kind of civil war.
