    The train shown here is British Rail Type 4 No. D207, (later renumbered as Class 40 No. 40 007).

    "a train is to be named 'The Master Cutler" - actually it's the train service that's being named, not the train itself. "The Master Cutler" was a specific service that ran between Sheffield and London.

    The train driver is Charles Henry Barnes. He was my grandfather.
