    Item title reads - The Lord Mayor Show. Favoured with fine weather for first time for many years, thousands enjoy annual pageant - this year at "Wembley on Wheels".

    M/S as Guards ride along carrying staffs, M/S of a float representing Australia, it has a giant Christmas pudding on it between a kangaroo and a cow on the back. M/S of another float with palm trees and a sign above a model cow saying 'New Zealand. ' A third coach has a temple on top. Another has 'British West Indies The Islands of Sunshine' written above a pile of bananas. The next float has a model of the world on it, and a sign about telegraphs on it.

    Intertitle - 'Five long service employees of the Lord Mayor's firm, present an address of congratulation to "1925's Dick Whittington."'

    M/S of the Lord Mayor's ornate coach pulled by plumed horses, the door is opened and a scroll is presented to him. M/S as a band plays and marches in front of the coach. M/S of buglers playing in a line. M/S of people waving as the coach moves on. M/S of the Lord Mayor and other dignitaries stood outside. The camera pans down buildings to show the parade passing underneath, L/S aerial view of the mayoral coach driving along.

    Intertitle - 'an ancient splendour revived. Pikemen of the H.A.C. join procession at City Boundary, a custom dating back to the 17th Century.'

    M/S of the pikemen in their uniform, they walk forward. M/S as they stand at the side as the coach passes. M/S of the coach, the camera pans across to the pikemen who march along, M/S of the coach driving.
