    M/S of Lord Mayor's carriage drawing to a halt, next to large crowds of people. The door is opened to and a piece of paper is handed to the Mayor. M/S of the horse drawn carriage moving away.

    L/S's of mounted military band followed by hundreds of mounted soldiers. L/S's of speed boat being towed along in the procession with the name "Miss England" emblazoned on the side, followed by numerous motor cars.

    L/S's of representatives from countries from all over the world (they hold up name tags to identify their country). L/S and M/S of the Mayor's carriage coming to a halt.     The Lord Mayor, seen at 03:27, is Sir William Waterlow.
