    L/S of Mount Wilson Observatory (California, United States of America, USA). Various shots of enormous "new wonder" telescope inside observatory. The new telescope is under construction. Various shots of men working on enormous lens of telescope. L/S of new lens being lifted by crane on to back of lorry, a crowd watches. L/S of vast lens being transported by lorry through town of Pasadena. There is a police escort and crowds of people follow.

    L/S of Perkins Observatory telescope (located somewhere in USA). More stills of moon craters. M/S of girl jumping over a ditch. Still of moon. L/S of girl jumping. An superimposed animation demonstrates how far she would jump in zero gravity.
