A small boat is leaving for "St. Kevin's Bed - the hermit's cave". Various shots of cow drinking from river - River Glenelough (sp.?). More shots of picturesque landscape. Various shots of ruins surrounding the lakes, the seven churches founded by St. Kevin, including distinctive round tower, St. Kevin's Church (supposedly saint's kitchen) and ruined monastery (St. Saviour's Church). C/U of granite Celtic cross. More shots of landscape.

    Note: name of river taken from audio, could not find written record of it. Any information about correct spelling of River Glenelough gratefully received. AH 2001.
