I note this clip bases 1931 and the 'first hydroglider in Europe' and feel this may be in error. having recently found the notes of a distant relative who pioneered Hydrogliding and indeed is mentioned by yourselves (Walter W F Davies - The Davies Hydroglider) The documents contain details of his ''D1'' (Oakleaf 2) was of the Trymaran type 30ft long, 6ft wide, with 4inch draught, and fitted with a 45H.P. six cylinder radial aeroplane engine fitted with an air propeller which on trials reached 18MPH. It first attempted the river trip from Bewdley to Bridgenorth on Sunday 10am October 30th 1921 with crew, Davies, Sidney Bray, and Bernard Bray(aged 12). The trip is documented. Later he writes about September 1922 in his D3 achieving 33MPH and relates to a trip Saturday October ,Ltd - London). they left Stourport at 11am (loaded- 4 Men and Cinema camera equipment) 15-gallons petrol and 2-gallons oil with total weight 1120LBS. Again trip story fully documented and may be your other clip ?

the above entry seems to have omitted part of the piece about the trip in D3 which stated the crew. In full this is .. Saturday October 29th 1923 Hydroglider with a crew of.. WFW Davies (pilot), Mr S Bray (observer), Mr F Brooks (engineer), Mr A Fisher of Pathe Cinemas Ltd (London) and trip started from Stourport at 11am heading for Shewsbury.
