In the present video, "The great Russian offensive", I believe I caught a glimpse of my grandfather, the commander of 1st battalion of the 3rd Guards Heavytank Brigade. As he launches the signal rocket, tanks deployed in battle order rise uphill and lead the major offensive which took place on September 5th, 1942. I am quite certain that the episode with the attacking KVs lacks a few frames in the begginning, the tank commanders of grandfather's battalion gathered around a map for a pre-offensive briefing. I have a photo, possibly a frame, of that episode. Would you kindly check with the source of the video to confirm that the video you have published comes in full lenght. Also, may I ask you to provide me with the original, Russian, title of this documentary.

    Many kind regards,
