Burnt out and wrecked vehicles of the Afrika Korps litter the scene. Allied troops advance on foot through the smoke, past dead German soldiers lying burnt in the sun. German and Italian prisoners are rounded up and brought in. Godfrey Talbot is heard, speaking of the Italian soldiers left in the rear by their German friends.
