I am Chairman of the Town History Committee of Brookline, NH in the United States.

Brookline was home to the Fresh Pond Ice Company, and our icehouse was reported to be the largest under one roof in the entire world. The ice house burned to the ground in 1935.

We have been told that Pathe filmed the icehouse for a newsreel. There is differing information on the date of that film.

We are updating our town history in time for our 250th anniversary in 2019, and we would appreciate any help in tracking down this newsreel.

It is hard to tell from this clip if this is the newsreel we are looking for. We are having members of our Historical Society look at it for any clues.

So, if you have any more information on the location of this clip, or of any newsreel of the Fresh Pond Ice Company and the Ice House in Brookline, New Hampshire, we would appreciate your help.

Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

    Keith F Thompson.
