Ancient Egyptian ceremony recreated on Nile with ship decorated like Cleopatra's barge.
Full title is missing, according to the issue sheet, it reads: "The fete of the bride of the Nile. Cannon salutes now replace the ceremony of annual sacrifice of a virgin, the ancients practised to assure abundant rain and good crops".
L/S of a tall ship on the River Nile. The tall ship is decorated with flags, drapes, awnings to look like Cleopatra's barge. Panning L/S of crowds on banks of Nile. Various shots of tall ship being towed down Nile by paddle steamer. We see smoke from cannons being fired on board tall ship. Iris in to black.
