Shot of people gathered around and sitting on top of the fallen statue; including little boy leaning on it. They wave at camera. In the final seconds a man puts his boot on the former ruler's head! Not exactly a riot; more a celebration. Alsace-Lorraine; the latter where Metz is located; had been under German rule since 1871 when the French lost the area in the Franco-Prussian War.
