"Modern Breeds" - A group of middle aged women sit on the grass whilst many small dogs run around. C/U of small dog lying on its back. Two larger coarse haired dogs held on leads. (Irish Wolfhound ?) A Corgi (?) stands on a stone pedestal. A woman leads a larger dog to stand beside the Corgi to show the difference in size. "Some modern dogs show their link with the past." Two Alsatians sit in a garden. One runs towards the camera then sits down. C/U of its head. Young woman holds six dogs (Lurchers?) on leads. Another woman feeds several puppies. Puppies run around. Two Husky (?) like dogs chew bones. Puppies of the same dog. One in extreme C/U. Two dogs drink water from a bucket. C/U of their heads. "Wild Dogs" - a group of dogs walk around a wooded area. One of the dogs picks up a piece of food. Another dog (Dingo?) picks up a large piece of meat then chews on it. A strange looking fox creature walks around a cage. C/U of its feet. An even stranger fluffy animal with short legs and bushy tail walks around a zoo enclosure. Another type of dog runs around in its zoo cage. Tasmanian Devil (?) in a cage. A fox seen in its natural habitat. It licks its lips. A white furred small foxy creature and a pair of darker furred foxy creatures are seen in a cage. C/U of face. Various other dog family members are featured.
