    A group of Syrian Desert Police stand next to their camels, which are lying down. The policemen are dressed in traditional Arab fashion, in head dresses and flowing robes.

    M/S the camels, now with their riders on their backs, rise in unison. One of the riders in the front carries a flag on a pole. There are several thin looking dogs in the foreground. Back shot of the group as they begin to ride off into the desert.

    The group ride through desert scenes, some rocky outcrops are seen in the background. More shots of the men on camels riding past the camera.

    C/U member of the Syrian Desert police - he looks straight at the camera through his binoculars. He is wearing a bandolier, with clips of ammunition for his rifle. He scans the horizon.
