    Various shots of the capital city of China being bombed by the Japanese in the Sino-Japanese war. L/Ss of bombers flying overhead and bombs falling to the ground then exploding in the distance. Several shots of the American Embassy which was bombed in spite of having the Stars and Stripes flag displayed on the roof. Chinese people pick through the rubble of bombed buildings and carry a large box (coffin?) suspended by ropes on poles.

    Commentary in paperwork mentions that this is the first anniversary of the Sino-Japanese war.
