Item title reads: " The Big Blow! 3,500 Bandsmen - in 140 bands - from all over Britain - contest in great National Brass Festival "
Crystal Palace, London
M/S grounds at Crystal Palace, with the band stand. Musicians descend the steps, some wear cloth caps and bowlers, and the next band go up. Pan round the grounds, it looks sunny. Next a policeman stands by a little tent, while a band play at the bandstand. The conductor can be seen. It now looks wet and windy.
Note: the last sequence could illustrate British summer in the wet anywhere.
