    M/S of a group of climbers making their way up a mountain path in the Austrian Alps. We then see people of the Austrian Alpine Society clearing a path on a slope with shovels and pickaxes. They fix steel posts and a wire rope into the rock at steep and dangerous places. Other men paint guide stones with different colours of paint so the climber can follow the correct route.

    The Alpine Society men reach the top of the mountain they are working on, then we see shots of the climbers making their way up the cleared route.
