M/S of two women standing amongst the rubble using buckets of water to wash a piece of furniture. M/S of an upturned piano lying in the street being hosed with water. L/S of people sorting through a large pile of debris. M/S of a man carrying a chair over fallen tree trunks, he places it with more furniture in the street. L/S of two men outside a half collapsed house. Panning shot of a river that has broken its banks, almost reaching the front door of a nearby house. More shots of the man being passed cases from an upstairs window.
