• Short Summary

114 dead, and many still missing, in the tornado that has laid waste to Waco, Texas.

  • Description

    Waco, Texas.

L/S of the town street totally destroyed by tornado. Rubble is seen everywhere. People walk around. L/S of a destroyed building. Front wall is missing and rooms (or whatever is left of them) are seen: chairs, tables, sofas, lights...

L/S of another street showing, what was a line of shops and now is just rubble. A degree of destruction is almost unimaginable. Several more shots of destroyed cars, streets, traffic lights, buildings, shops... A wall collapses, people stand around, looking...

People trying to remove the piles of rubble to check for possible survivors or bodies. Rescue operation seems to be dangerous since the rubble can collapse further, hurting rescuers.

Men in uniforms (probably military) deliver the food to people. A soldier is seen walking across the rubble. More shots of a destroyed town.

Note: There was no record for this story so it was necessary to re-catalogue it.
