C/U man tying feathers on mechanical device which dogs run after (like hare at dog track). Man finishes tying feathers and walks out of picture. C/U sign reading "Terriers racing". Camera pans from sign to people going into entrance. M/S people paying then entering enclosure.
M/S two kennel maids preparing greyhound and greyhound mongrel for race. M/S crowd. M/S kennel maids entering arena with greyhounds and parading them round track. M/S children watching. L/S of track, in foreground man can be seen starting mechanical device. Traps open and greyhounds chase after hare. Camera following greyhounds as they chase after hare, kennel maids dash onto track to stop greyhounds. Greyhounds escape them and catch up with the feathers. M/S man pulling feathers away from excitable greyhounds. C/U crowd watching.

One of the terriers turns and runs the other way. M/S dog barking. M/S terrier racing round track man who controls hare goes onto track and catches him.
M/S man fixing fixing hurdles onto track. M/S kennel maids holding terriers, they let them go as hare comes round. M/S dogs jumping over the hurdles. M/S two terriers watching them jump. M/S dogs jumping over hurdles. M/S black dog jumping onto inside of track. M/S man watching. Camera following black dog as he jumps on and off track, making shortcuts so that he can catch the hare.
