    LS Of two tankers which have collided, the British one 'Alva Cape' and the American 'Texaco'. They lay in New York Harbour with smoke belching from them after the collision. Air view of the Texaco being towed off. MS Mayor John Lindsay of New York arrival to see the damage. VS Showing the 'Alva Cape' with firemen on board and the burnt body of the tanker is still smouldering. The ship has a large hole in the side. MS Large pine box holding one of the dead is lifted into truck. MS Nurses.
