• Short Summary

Combat television in operation with simulated command centre.

  • Description

    Fort Meade, Maryland.

Experimental combat television is unveiled by the Army, a revolutionary concept in military communications. The screen picks up pictures from eight remote cameras in the field. If perfected, combat television would find soldiers in the field getting their orders direct from commending officers seated before TV sets far from the front.
