• Short Summary

Great footage of Parisian traffic - nice sped up footage with funny musical accompaniment.

  • Description

Paris, France. Views from the Arc de Triomphe focusing on traffic.

Introductory intertitle reads: "Someone once declared that if you stood long enough in Piccadilly Circus, you'd meet everyone you knew. Paris says the same about her Arc de Triomphe - "

L/S of the Arc de Triomphe with cars driving around it. "From the top of this mighty symbol of victory is a vision of Boulevards... and house tops!" Panning shot showing the view "...and traffic." Cars are seen circling the landmark. It looks really chaotic - no lane etiquette here! Another view of traffic moving away from the Arc de Triomphe. "The last word in noise, bustle and rush... so our camera thought when we speeded things up a bit!"

Frighteningly fast footage of Parisian traffic seen from a moving car. Funny music accompanies - we think it might be "The Charge of the Light Brigade". High angle shots of moving traffic including trams.

Safety print exists of section only.
