    M/S of a tram covered in lights, Wilfrid Ashley steps off it. M/S of mayor of Liverpool, Margaret Bevan, at controls, they climb off the tram. M/S as it is carried along in a harness then gently lowered. L/S of the tram works with people walking through it.

    Various shots of the tram lit up with people stood by it. M/S of mayor applauding, M/S of people stood about. M/S as she shows Wilfrid a book and he signs it. L/S of them in the depot.
