    Sultan of Morocco in Fez.

    On the road leading from Casablanca to Rabat and Fez. Troops passing on trucks and armoured cars. 10,000 Berbers are assembled near Fez, among whom are 3,000 horsemen. Awaiting the ceremony of the afternoon, the horsemen stage a fantasia. Horsemen take up their places along the road.

    La Medina, near Mechouar, biggest city of Morocco. People line the route - men play drums and pipes. Procession going past. Armed police survey people. Dates and milk are offered to Sultan, Sidi Mohammed Ben Moulay Arafa, who remains in his car for security measures.

    At the Palace, notabilities of Fez are presented. Entering the throne-hall. Grand Vizir (Si El Kittani, Chief of Religious Brotherhood in Morocco) goes to see the Sultan. Arrival of General Guillaume with several other military officials in white uniforms. General with Sultan.
