    Close up shot of a boy in pilot gear. Boy is 14 year old Ovid Victor Ottley of Alexandra Park, London. Boy climbs into a de Havilland DH.60G Gipsy Moth plane. A man starts the propellor and boy takes off. Cut to the boy getting out of plane. Man and a girl waiting. Man introduces Victor to Miss Jean Hughes, the Club's youngest girl pilot. Girl leaves and the man interviews Victor. Boy says he feels confident... very keen on flying... believes that young people should lead the way.

    Paperwork states that the title for this item is "SUB: 2 ...and Miss Winifred Drinkwater - the girl pilot who will co-operate with the men on the Liverpool Air Ferries."

Young pilot woman in cockpit with two other people in plane - she is fully qualified pilot and regularly co-operates with men on the Liverpool Air Ferries.

    "Victor Otley" - the boy's name is actually Ovid Victor Ottley.

    The plane he's flying here is a de Havilland DH.60G Gipsy Moth

    "East Anglia Aero Club" should read East Anglian Aero Club.

    The plane Winifred Drinkwater is seen in is an Avro 640 Cadet.
