Lengthy item where Walter Lindrum demonstrates several billiard tricks and breaks.
Titles read: 'Striking Items from Pathe Sound Magazine. (Numbers 21 & 22)'.
First item shows two men in bow ties, waistcoats and shirtsleeves holding billiard cues and standing at a billiard table. Beginning of the item seems to be missing. The man on the left (Claude Faulkener) talks about Mr Lindrum's success and says he taught him the nursery cannon game (?) in Australia some years ago. He introduces the man beside him as Walter Lindrum who says how glad he is to be in London. Walter shows us how he holds the cue and makes a bridge.
Walter then shows us how he does several billiard tricks and breaks, including the nursery cannon game and the rock cannon (after 35 cannons he must strike the cushion). The final shots show Lindrum demonstrating a cannon twice around the table and the traditional screw shot. (Item seems to end before the end of the trick!)
Note: item is slightly out of synch throughout due to early recording techniques.
