    Panning shot of the memorial service at the Airborne Division Cemetery at Arnhem. It is raining heavily. Various shots of the cemetery, relatives walk amongst the graves seeking those of their sons. More shots of the memorial service, Major General Urquhart, former commander of 1st Airborne Division is present. We see a mother weeping over the grave of her son.

    The narrator is Muriel George. Muriel's son, John, was killed in Arnhem in 1946. Very poignant commentary.
