Statue of Eros (from Greek mythology) w/ his bow & arrow; returned to Piccadilly after World War One.(the famous statue must have been removed to prevent its being damaged in bombing). MS statue on ground; in front of Scrap metal business. Man is turning the statue around on its base; as some other men watch at side. GV at Piccadilly Circus; of the Eros statue being hoisted up; 2 workers now pulling it up onto the platform w/ them;people in street below watching; buses going past; etc. London; homefront.
