The Procession by King George V and Queen Mary from Buckingham Palace to Westminster.
Full title reads: "London. State Opening of Parliament. The King & Queen drive in state to open one of the most momentous Parliaments of our long history!"
The Royal Carriage leaves the gates of Buckingham Palace. The road is lined by members of the Guards regiment. Yeomen of the Guard (Beefeaters) walk alongside the carriage.
Close shot of the carriage showing Queen Mary and King George V seated inside. The National Anthem is played as they pass.
More shots of the procession of the carriage on its way to Westminster. Behind the carriage are soldiers of various Guards and Cavalry regiments. Crowds have come out to line the route.
The carriage approaches the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament). Bells are ringing out. More shots of the royal couple in the carriage.
The next shots show the procession leaving the Palace of Westminster (we don't get to see the King and Queen leaving their carriage). It is now raining and the crowds are sheltering beneath umbrellas.
