Queen Mary and the Duchess of Kent (Princess Marina) arrive for the service of the Order of St Michael and St George; commentator notes that the Duchess is still in mourning for the death of her father.

    King George VI (Prince Albert, Duke of York) arrives in the full dress Uniform of an Admiral of the Fleet and is received by the Lord Mayor of London, Harry Twyford, also in ceremonial dress. Brief shot of the crowds standing outside the cathedral. The King is seen getting into his car after the service.
