    A group of young boys from a Dr Barnardos home are lined up outside. A man asks several of the boys what they would like for Christmas. Their gift ideas range from a pocket watch to a motorcar. CU of several of the boys. One of the boys says that he would like Santa Claus to bring him his mother for Christmas.

    A bagpipe band leads Father Christmas in to the playground. He is pushing a trolley loaded with Christmas presents. The boys run to the trolley and make off with their gifts.
