    Hampstead, London.

    Bank holiday fair on Hampstead Heath. Elevated general shot of fairground. Various shots of crowds wandering between the stalls. Various shots of swings, roundabouts, the big wheel and the chair-o-plane. Includes good point of view shots from on board the rides.

    Herne Hill, London.

    International cycling at Herne Hill track. C/U of race official firing starting pistol. Various shots of bicycle racing watched by large crowd. After preliminary heats, winners go through to Five Mile Final. Cyclist Tommy Godwin wins the race, closely beating London rider Walker. The two lap sprint is won by Reg Harris, closely followed by French rider A. Revoul.

    The model seen between 00:20 and 00:28 is an early model made by the Packard Motor Car Company.

    The vehicle seen at 00:36, (Reg. No. EW 113), is a New Orleans Voiturette.

    The car racing towards the camera at 00:57, (numbered 7), is a BMW Frazer-Nash roadster.

    The car being wheeled out at 01:04 looks likely to be the "Lightweight Special", built by Alec Issigonis and George Dowson, and pictured here...


    The car at 01:12, (Reg. No. AVC 17), is a 1935 Riley 12/4 TT Sprite.
