    Charles Forte unveils a cocktail cabinet that the club is presenting to Mike Hawthorn, unlocking it to show bottles of drink inside. Guests applaud. Mike makes a speech saying how delighted he is with the honour and the cocktail cabinet, but thinks the drink will count against him in getting a reduction with a Swedish insurance firm. He talks of his 8 years as a racing driver and refers to his retirement "now's the time". The audience applaud.
