    L/S's of large crowds of people on the banks of the River Thames to watch the women's rowing races. The commentator Eade says that rowing "some people declare is too strenuous for women. Well just judge for yourself. Several M/S's of a ladies four's race on the Thames, Eade points out the very graceful rowing style they possess and compares it to a men's rowing team.

    M/S of the French eight's team watching the action from the side of the river. Nice M/S of one of the girls giving another a 'piggy back' ride. Good group shot of the tea posing wearing very smart suits. Various shots of the team rowing on the river including slow motion footage of them passing under Barnes Bridge.

    M/S's of a young German girl Friedal Meyer (not sure if this is the correct spelling), preparing her one man canoe. L/S's of rowing on the Thames in London with her pet dog sitting with her. Eade says that she is rowing around Britain.
