Full titles read: "Speedsters! - on Track, Lake & drome."
Intertitle reads: "Mr. A. Denly wins the "500 c.c." Motor Cycle scratch race at Brooklands at 90.88 miles per hour."
High angle L/Ss of men wheeling their motorcycles to the starting line and roaring off in a race. Various shots of the bikes tearing round the track. M/S of the winner, Mr A Denly, sitting on his motorbike after the race and talking to the crowd around him. He says he is very pleased to win this race and that it is a nice little track, and being wet doesn't do it much good (or something - track appears to jump).
Intertitle reads: "And at Woodley, Reading, Lt. Col. Rt. Hon. Sir Leslie Wilson G.C.I.E., P.C. opens new Aerodrome."
M/S of a man in an overcoat with a group of others; he declares the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Aerodrome Club duly open and fires a gun into the air. Various shots of biplanes standing on the airfield and flying through the air as crowds of people on the ground watch. The soundtrack cuts out just before we see a helicopter sweeping across the field and soaring up into the air.
Note: according to paperwork there was also footage in this item showing Mr Norman Dereham, the famous swimmer, trying out new Aqua-skis at the Welsh Harp, Hendon - now apparently missing.
