Two cars collide coming out of the chicane; pan to No 41, JH Gaston's Austin Healey Sprite which has spun round and is going backwards. Mechanics strain their necks to see. Shots of Jim Clark's Aston Martin Zagato and Surtees' Ferrari crashed at the side of the track. Surtees and Clark walk back to the pits. Ireland is in the lead and crosses the finishing line. Crowd cheers. Ireland gets out of his car and is congratulated by friends. C/U of Ireland drinking from a cup.
