    Huesca Province, near Barcelona, Spain.

    Various shots of burnt out, bombed out, village. A soldier (antifascist?) walks passes a building, the walls are riddled with bullet holes. C/U of sign which reads: "Huesca 3 km Zaragoza 74 km".

    Various shots of soldiers fighting from trench. We see them digging and pointing their rifles through gaps in sandbags. Soldiers are fighting against General Franco, they are antifascists.
