Originally this is the Russian newsreel dedicated to the battle for Praha, the suburb of Warsaw on the eastern bank of the Vistula, taken in a bitter street fight on September 14th, 1944. This English version lacks the portrait of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Guards captain V.Potapov, the commander of 2nd battalion of 59th Guards tank brigade of 8th Guards Tank Corps, whose tankmen liberated the suburb.
